Mobile Cost Incorporation

Hi All
Should the cost of the mobile use (which is given to an employee by the company for official purpose ) be included in the CTC or should it be treated as a seperate benefit given to the emp.
Does adding the mobile cost to the CTC makes the company liable to pay the FBT (fringe benefit tax)?????

Contents of the CTC (COST TO COMPANY)

Basic
HRA
TA
Other Allowance
Mobile Reimbursement / Month
Gross Per Month = Sum of all the above.
Gross Per Annum= 12*Gross/Month
PF Contribution= 12% of Basic/Annum
ESI Contribution = 4.75% of Gross/Annum

some org include mobile exp in their other allowance in the CTC.

Hi,
Mobile bill should not includ in CTC. But it depends in different cases. Like if a person need the mobile mostly for company's business purpose and very rarely use it for personal use then it should not be included in CTC. But if a person need mobile mostly to satisfy personal needs,or company has provided him mobile for his position and which dose not require use of it for copany's business purpose, then it shoud be added to CTC. Because it is a benifit for him.
