When we talk about modern Retail we always tend to limit our perceptions to big Bazar or others chains , but if we go 15 years back Bata store was existing and it way on the same concept of touch and feel the product . Well Retail in India is still in its Nascent stages and it needs people with desired skill sets to manage it. If we look at people around us working in reatil , most of them have varied backgrounds , So they are acquiring skills through there learning , but this can't be the way forward for world class execution. We need to have ways to develop certain skill set to develop the retail culture . Regards
