sreddy17171 - Member Since: Dec 2008 Subject - Behavioural Workshops PPC Worldwide – Onsite Workshop - Concept Note As an extension of the EAP services, we offer a range of training programs which can be conducted under the rubric of coffee talks, luncheon meets and full/half day training programs. These will be paid programs and charges will be determined with mutual consent of PPC India and the concerned company. These programs cover a range of topics in the area of health, well-being and lifestyle management. The programs aim to cater to a cross-section of the employee population and their families. Certain programs are exclusively designed for specific populations, for e.g., the Women Special series or the Management Consultation series. Some of these programs are conducted by the PPC, Operations team and for the expert areas we invite specialists to conduct the program on behalf of PPC for the organizations. As part of our commitment to making these programs a success, we ensure that these programs are tailor-made for individual organizations to address context and situation specific issues and concerns. Given below are brief descriptions of the topics, the methodology and the target audience for whom, the programs can be designed and conducted. By no means are these categories exhaustive or complete. We would be happy to discuss topics which may be relevant to employees of your organization. - Health – This area would cover areas on diet, exercise, diabetes management, fertility issues, smoking cessation, chemical dependencies-myth and realities, pediatrics, yoga, meditation, etc. These can be arranged with specialists from the respective fields. These are dyadic talks/lectures with live demos and examples followed by a Q & A session. Approximate time for a single session would be 1 and a half hours (talk plus Q &A). These programs can be held for a cross-section of the employee population. Families can also be invited for these sessions.
- Well-being – parenting and disciplining, ‘fatherhood’- sharing the care, behavioral problems in child and adolescents, quality of marital life, marriage in contemporary society, adoption, single parenting, stress of dual career couples, understanding and coping with loss, elder care- you and your aging parent/ family member, work-life balance, recognizing and dealing with stress in self and others, relationship management, , change management, anger management, recognizing and dealing with chronic fatigue, re-energizing your life (deals with issues like, bringing creativity into daily living, re-discovering passion in your interests/hobbies, evaluating priorities in life, pursuing activities which bring higher degree of satisfaction, re-inventing career and personal goals, etc.). These wide ranging topics can cater to a cross-section of the population (especially including the spouses/partners of the employees). These are half to one day workshops which would include interactive sessions, Audio-visual aids, group discussions, exercises and lectures. They can also be handled as coffee or luncheon meets.
- Management Consultation – Some of the topics covered under this rubric are, influencing skills, negotiation skills, conflict resolution, communication skills, feedback skills, assertiveness training, supervision skills (coaching, mentoring, counseling and facilitating), effective delegation, developing emotional Intelligence for success, planning for professional growth, encouraging onus of responsibility and ownership (helping managers inculcate the sense of responsibility in their team members), managing expectations, fighting stagnation and/or de-motivation at workplace, time management and organization, brainstorming and decision-making handling difficult people (non or under performers, cribbing, bad-mouthing, chronic complainers, etc.). These programs exclusively cater to managers at the mid and senior level of the organization. These can be handled as luncheon meets, or one day training programs.
- Women Special – PMS, Menopause, pregnancy and child-birth, juggling multiple roles, gender discrimination, sexual harassment, women in caregiver role (the balancing act), etc. These programs are exclusively meant for the women employees or women family members. These programs could be handled through any one of the methodologies mentioned above. They can also be arranged on special occasions like, Mother’s Day, Women’s Days. It is recommended that these programs be held during working hours to avoid a spill over after working hours.
- Others - Effective budgeting, Insurance issues (including credit cards, mediclaim and Medicare), taxation issues, Debt management etc.
