How to Get in to IT & ITES sectors as a marketing traine

Am Doing my MBA from hyderabad as marketing as my specalization. Am very much intrested to get in to IT sector. So can you people tell me career's future and job prospectives in IT field for marketing. So please let me know the different oppurtunities for marketing trainee in IT. I vll be very thankfull to you people.

Hi Santosh,

No matter what, Marketing has always been the soul for any business. I am working as a marketing analyst (IT) for WAZA Technology, Dubai. IT sales and marketing involves a deep knowledge about your products, recognizing the target marget, decent presentation and follow up skills, you have to be aggressive about everything you do.

These days, a bunch of people resell softwares which implies that you get partnered with the main software producing company and you are responsible for selling their software into your market.This again involves strategies and proper planning.

All i would say is just make sure that you have the right product and the right attitude to sell it.
