Position Summary: The Marketing Manager is the primary liaison for all marketing activities relating to the products they are responsible for. This individual works directly with the Business leader to create product segmentation/positioning models, define the competitive landscape, develop go-to-market strategies and manage the product lifecycle roadmap. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for working directly with our direct and indirect sales channels including internal sales teams, distributors, DMR’s, retailers, resellers and retailers. This individual is responsible for providing these customers with the direction and materials they require to carry-out approved marketing programs.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing and managing the following duties: ·Product Management ·Product Roadmap and Lifecycle ·Collateral – datasheets and technical specifications ·Case Studies: Developing text and image strategy · New Product Launch activities and campaigns · Common essential duties and responsibilities: ·Product Marketing Support ·Product literature management (creation/updates) ·Product messaging and positioning (in conjunction with the Business leader) ·Training – internal sales people and reseller sales people
·Tradeshows -Provide technical product show support and training in the booth during shows -Support Corp Com with product requirements – demo units, collateral -Assist in developing signage materials relating to product ·Advertising Work with Corpcom and creative agencies to ensure proper product positioning and messaging Joint advertising programs with channel partners and customers when appropriate
