Job Location - Gurgaon Please find below the JD of the following:-- Subject: JD for product Head 1.Product Planning & Launch - Mobiles & Accessories - Planning product and accessories roadmap - Define market requirements and specifications. - Monitor emerging technology/services trend and prepare products in accordance for delivery and launch. - Sourcing products from OEMs/Manufacturing partners across China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand and other locations. - Develop pricing strategies and monitor average gross margins across product categories. - Launch India specific accessories - technical, non-technical and fashion series. - Monitoring team for testing product across different operators infrastructure & sim cards. - Explore new product categories in line with market requirements. 2. Product Marketing (pre-launch Marketing activities) - Create product communications plans with close conjunction with advertising agencies. - Involve in planning marketing activities for each product (both ATL & BTL). - New Product Introduction to sales channel through innovative POS. - Tracking key consumer insights for specific product categories. - Develop effective communication between the company and the channel. - Manage customer life cycle and design products to increase product lifecycle. - Develop new products and initiatives for trade in line with distribution lead/head. - Analyze buying trend and track upgrade pattern of handsets and customers. 3. Strategy and alliances - Development of content distribution models, web and WAP portal, embedding, memory cards and VAS scratch cards. - Strategic tie ups with media houses, Content Owners etc. - Work closely with content aggregators and content developer community for content & application sourcing. - Work closely with mobile application developer community to develop new Mobile applications for implementation. - Work alliances with standard application/platform. - Work with social community partners like Facebook, Orkut, ibibo. - Work with Operators & Retail chains for handset bundling for key accounts.
