| Dear Dharani and Other Members; I request all the members to give proper thought before asking any question, if you really wish your question is answered properly. Dharani, in your question you have used a word HUL. Do not take it as granted that everybody knows the meaning of abbreviation used. Whenever you use any abbreviation first time, always give full form of it so that others can understand and you get a proper answer from the members. In general while preparing any marketing strategy the management needs to set a goal. Such goal should not be unrealistic. Goals must have some basis and logics behind it. While setting up goals, normally the management analyzes the past performance at different levels, and finds out the reasons and hurdles to accelerate the sales. The management first decides to remove such hurdles and make a plan of action. On the other end they decide to formulate marketing strategy. This could be sort term or long term strategy and make necessary budgetary provision for the same and make an action plan. It is a duty of the marketing manager to monitor and make a plan a success. If you (or anybody) are based at Ahmedabad and wish to discuss on the subject in details, you may take my prior appointment on my mobile (098258 47733) and may come personally, if you think my guidance will help you anyway. Thanking you. Sharad Shah (Consultant)
