Hi All,
I am currently working in a reputed IT services company in Mumbai. I am in pre sales. My job involves preparation of proposals and responding to RFI's & RFP's. this is my first job and i have been working since last 8 months...... Although the job is gud.....but i am hampered by the lack of technical knowledge as the job entails atleast knowledge in different domains. I do intend to get into sales after a few years.
I am B.E (Mechanical) with MBA in Marketing passed out in 2007. I am thinking of doing a SAP course (S&D module) so that i will atleast gain some knowledge in that domain...and also i intend to move into presales in SAP and eventually in sales......
But i am confused as to from where should i do the SAP course from. I know there are many institutes in mumbai where they teach SAP module for a fee of Rs.20,000 to 30,000 but at the same time i heard they cannot be trusted as they are not certified trainers and the faculty is pathetic and also they don't provide any placements. Then there is Genovate & Siemens who are SAP certified trainers but they charge exorbitant fees around Rs.1,50,000 to 2,50,000.
Can anyone pl advise if its alright for me to undergo SAP training after just 8 months of job and from which institutes should i do the training from.
