Cold calling is the process where by you call a prospective customer without any relationship between you and the customer and without any prior appointment where by the prospective customer is not expecting your call, if your presentation is good on phone if the customer is satisfied by your verbal presentation he or she would buy your product or services. If your presentation is not that interesting so you cannot close the deal. More over you shall target those customers only who are really interested in buying your product or services.

Concluding the call :
Never forget to ask if the person want to receive Email / Literature about your proposal.
Ask when you can contact back.
If your call ends to be Negative.... donít loose heart! At least you can leave an impression about yourself on that person. you can say it was nice talking to you... few compliments etc and request if you can still send some Email /Literature so that if in case your company comes up with better proposals, you can inform the person.
