Indian Retail Sector is a booming industry in India. Though many companies are entering the world retailing in India, the challenges are also many due to the geographic, economic, political conditions of India. More over, the Indian retail customer behaviour undergone major changes.



This workshop is intended to instill knowledge on the current development in the Indian Retail Sector and the skill to manage the challenges that is unique to the industry.

TRAINER / FACILITATOR:
Mr. T.S.Vidyasagar had worked for 2 MNCs and 2 large Indian conglomerates for 3 decades at senior levels. He started his career in retailselling for a German MNC and rose to the level of Vice President International Marketing for a US Healthcare company.
By virtue of his industry experience he had specialized in Retail Management, Strategic Management, Marketing & Sales, Entrepreneurship, Training & Development, Brand Management and Event Management. He teaches in many MBA colleges also as he has a passion to train young minds. He has trained about 400 MBA students in retail management so far.
He had a stint of service as a consultant in Dubai. He had organized more than 50 workshops on Nutraceuticals on behalf of Government of India, UNCTAD & DFID (UK). As a tier II partner for UNCTAD - India Project 'Strategies and Preparedness for Trade and Globalization in India', he had participated in many seminars. He is also empanelled as Udyami Mitra under Rajiv Gandhi Udyami Mitra Yojna of Government of India, Ministry of MSME - a scheme for 'Promotion and Handholding of Micro & Small Enterprises'
Prof. Vidyasagar holds a M.Sc.,degree in Chemistry, PGDM (Marketing Management), M.Phil in Entrepreneurship.
