in sales "it doesn't matter what u say it only matters how u say". customers is like a baby u have to feed them. as a teacher is teaching A,B,C..... to students. A sale will become boring if one continoue to talk abt technical things. so add some examples and show how it will be successful to their organization. as customers only seeks profit whatever they buying from u.
Don't talk in technical terms with customer.

let me introduce myself...i am working as asst manager marketing and sales with <link outdated-removed>
this is a new job protal and many a dtimes my jopb involves giving practical demonstration of my protal to the clients.
you won't believe what all i have talked with the clients during my demo... whenever i see my client getting bored or disinterested i look around for some clues...i have talked about fengsui...about a fish aquarium that one of my client was crazy about..,..weather when i found some files of my clilent soking wet...mumbai terror...
professionally asked client about his business...how he started....and even proporsed ideas how one can increase his business acitiviy...
Actually this also apart from many thing gives a personal touch to our talks and the clients remember us the next time we call.
In one company they had started a campiaign of saving the enviroment and u know what we spent two hours talking about that and only 15 minutes of our business...but in the end we got that client..
so when ever you visit a client become a detective...you can admire the companies building its atmosphere etc...
remember give a personal touch...a if a lady is into marketing remember she always has the upper edge.
and pls never lt the customer know u are treating them as a child sometimes its insulting...
think if someone treats u as a child how will u react..
be simple and wait...give an oppurtunity for the customer to ask u questions...
in case if he does not ask don't bother...take him email id and tell him that yuou will mail him technicalities in detail..
don't forget to highlight your points..
